Washing the Floors
My honey says that there are plenty of good resources out there for answers to theological questions.
This was in response to one of my brainstorm ideas of making my blog a kind of resource for info. on cults.
He also said that blogging is kind of, you know... "Narcissistic?" ( I finished his sentence).
He listened patiently as I began stumbling over my words to explain that this could be a good thing... I could write about all my family, and it could be like a literary scrapbook!
My really smart husband (no sarcasm here) offered his final piece/peace :) If you want to write something, write a book. Write about one topic and don't do it online!
Better go, my little family went to prayer meeting and I stayed home to wash the floors and do other house cleaning chores.
We're welcoming a short term mission team from our old church in California. They have a blog!
It's http://ourstmtriptoalaska.blogspot.com/
We are really excited about their arrival!
By the way, I have really enjoyed all the posts on various blogs. I don't think folks are intending it to be self-serving, however, "the pride of life" is a disease that comes on us not from an outside germ, but rather it is sourced within ourselves!
So, in light of eternity, everything we say on our blogs will be judged and the great Judge knows even our deepest motivations for the words we have written.
Got to go and get my mop.
